Custom clothing

The main focus of my business!
I can outfit your entire wedding party, from the all-important wedding gown to attendants and 'mother-of-the-bride' outfits, and even waistcoats and cravats for the gentlemen in the party.

For any other special event, I can make you the outfit of your dreams,
not the one you bought in a shop which is 'close enough'.
You can come to me with a commercial pattern and ready-bought fabric,
or with pictures from a magazine, or your own sketches,
or nothing more than the ideas in your head.

Using the latest computer software I can turn your ideas into a printed pattern tailored to your exact measurements.

Costume

I also design and construct fancy-dress and theatrical costumes.
Costumes have been designed from drawings, photographs and character descriptions in books.
Some of my costumes have gone on to win prizes!

Alterations

A very important part of my business - if not very glamorous...
From the hem on a pair of trousers, to remaking a ball gown.
Some things are possible, others are not. I'm happy to see the garment, advise you on the feasibilty of an alteration, and discuss the options available to you.
